Job Description

Call for Applications: Research Associate/Post-Doctoral Fellow in Power System Modeling

EEP is now recruiting a Research Associate/Post-Doctoral Fellow who has demonstrable expertise in techno-economic modeling of regional/national electricity networksto develop a power system model (using off-the shelf or generic software)of the four major States in the Southern Region in India. The position requires a candidate with:

A Doctorate in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems/Industrial Engineering/ Management (with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering)

OR Atleast three years of experience in research/teaching/design in the area of Power Systems after securing a ME/MS/MTech degree in Electrical Engineering /Power Systemsresulting in atleast one research paper related to Power Systems in a Science-Citation-Indexed (SCI) journal.

The monthly emolument for this position is Rs 40,000 + HRA (currently 24% of the basic fellowship amount).
