Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate/ Research Assistant (Economics and Social Sciences) at Indian Institute of Management Nagpur

1. Job Description: The Research Assistant’s duties will include a review of relevant literature, data collection (primary and secondary),data compilation, data analysis using statistical and econometric software, preparation of report, and assistance with other research-related tasks.

2. Post Name: Research Associate/ Research Assistant

3. Qualification: PhD/MPhil/Post graduate in Economics or related disciplines with minimum 55% marks in masters degree Prior experience in the analysis of data or household surveys, collection of data, using data analysis software like stata/ Eviews etc., are preferable. Evidence of prior empirical research work in the form of a master’s thesis, working paper(s),and/ or publication(s) should be submitted along with the application.

4. Selected candidate will be offered a contractual appointment for a period of up to 12 months on a consolidated monthly salary mode on third party contract. Consolidated salary ranges between Rs. 25,000/- to Rs.30,000/- per month.
