Inter University Accelerator Centre is an Inter-University facility under UGC for accelerator based research. IUAC intends to appoint Research Associates (RA) for Energetic Ion Beam based experimental Research work in Nuclear Physics/Materials Science/Radiation Biology and Accelerator Mass Spectrometry. 

Those who have Ph.D. degree (or submitted thesis) in the areas of experimental research in following disciplines can apply.

Selected Candidates will be paid fellowship as per UGC / CSIR guidelines.

The Candidate should have a good academic record and research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard referred journals.

Candidates having research experience in the area of Ion-beam based experiments will be preferred.

Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) was set-up by the University Grants Commission as the first Inter-University Centre (IUC) called Nuclear Science Centre after due approval of the Planning Commission and the Prime Minister in October, 1984. Its construction started in December, 1986 and completed in time on December 19, 1990.
