TISS invites applications for Research Associates for a research project on mainstreaming Climate Change in Higher Education as a part of the collaboration on “Transforming Universities for a Changing Climate”.

Eligibility Criteria:
▪ Post-Graduation in Natural Resources and Governance, Environmental Studies, Developmental Studies, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Media Governance, or other relevant disciplines from a recognized university or Equivalent.
▪ Experience in qualitative research on environmental and developmental issues.
▪ Ability to document and write project-based research reports.
▪ Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
▪ Good communication and research writing skills in English

Responsibilities:

▪ Carry out a literature review and collection of qualitative data.
▪ Carry out qualitative data analysis.
▪ Attend project meetings and prepare minutes of the meeting.
▪ Assist in documenting the project findings and preparing the project reports.
▪ Other project-related tasks assigned by the Project Leader.

Duration: 5 months

Remuneration: Consolidated payment of Rs. 30,000/- per month

Location: TISS Hyderabad, and travel to field sites
