Job Description

Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview (virtual) to be held online, at ICAR – Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, on  3rd December 2021 from 10:30 A.M. onwards for recruitment of the following positions under the below mentioned projects as per the details given below.

1. Post Name: Research Executive

2. Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- Per month (Consolidated)

3. Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Food Chemistry or Biochemistry/Agrl. Biotechnology/ Instrumentation/ Postgraduate degree in Basic sciences with at least 60% marks secured in the qualifying degree.

4. Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in food analysis, protein digestibility, bioavailability studies, data compilation and analysis; research publications in relevant field. Proficiency in English, and MS-Office Willing to travel across country in project sites

Age Limit:
The age limit of above position is up to 40 years as on the date of interview. (Age can be relaxed upto 5 years in case of 1 and 2 positions with higher experience)

Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) upgraded from Directorate of Sorghum Research (DSR),is the central agency to work on all aspects of millets research and development under the auspeces of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). While the main centre at Hyderabad campus is principally engaged in both basic and strategic research on millets, region-specific research and services are organized through two other centres - Solapur in Maharashtra and OSN, Warangal in Telangana.
