Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow / Project Associate I

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. No of Post: 01

3. Essential qualifications: M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Science/ Botany with 55% aggregates marks and above from recognized university with NET qualified in relevant subject

4. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- +16% HRA per month for the first 2 years and Rs.35,000/- HRA (as per norms)per month for 3rd year

5. Desirable: Working ability in Pollution remediation especially in Phytoremediation

6. Nature of the post: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

3. Essential qualifications: M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Science/ Botany with 55% aggregates marks and above from recognized university

4. Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- +16% HRA per month for the first 2 years and Rs.28,000/- HRA (as per norms) per month for the 3rd year.

5. Desirable: Working ability in Pollution remediation especially in Phytoremediation

6. Nature of the post: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

Age Limit:

The upper age limit of JRF/PA-1 is 28 years as of the day of the interview. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

The President of India gave assent to The Central Universities Act, 2009 which envisages establishing and incorporating universities for teaching and research in the various states. The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on the 1st of March, 2009.
