Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct a sizing exercise for the retail segment to understand its salience in the brick-and-mortar format across key segments such as food & beverage, footwear, apparel, beauty, etc.
2. Identify and read relevant documents, such as research reports by banks, consultancies, brokerages, and DRHPs and extract key data
3. Understand the revenue split across e-commerce and in-store formats
4. Determine the extent of discounted sales by obtaining the same from store owners/managers
5. Prepare a report with findings across tier 1 and tier 2 cities

1. An interest in retail and technology

2. Ability to conduct primary (by identifying and reading relevant reports) and secondary (via conversations with key stakeholders in person or telephonically) research

3. Comfort with data, strong writing skills, and a quick learner

4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

5. Time management and organizational skills

6. Ability to work under minimum supervision
