Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview (virtual) to be held online, at ICAR – Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, on 2 nd & 3rd December 2021 from 10:30 A.M. onwards for recruitment of the following positions under the below mentioned projects as per the details given below.
1. Post Name: Research Manager (Food Technology)
2. Emoluments: Rs. 80,000/- Per month (Consolidated)
3. Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Food Technology/Food Science & Nutrition/Microbiology/Agribusiness Management/ Food Engineering with minimum of 60% marks. PhD degree will be an additional qualification. • 2-3 years research experience in relevant field.
4. Desirable Qualifications: Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge in cereals processing machinery, postharvest machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle incubation, startups, ability to analyze data and documentation skills. Proficiency in English, and sufficient knowledge in MS-Office and computer usage. Willing to travel for field visits to micro processing units from various states. Prior experience in premier institutes such as NIFTEM/CFTRI/IIT’s etc will be added advantage
5. Roles and Responsibilities: Design and development of new processed food products and recipes. Work closely with the product development and production teams to help deliver factory-ready products. Basic studies on Shelf life enhancement of milled and value added products of millets. Research on the latest trends and technologies, and understand the consumer markets. Devise, new product specifications, product development, quality parameters, shelf life etc.
Age Limit:
The age limit of above position is up to 40 years as on the date of interview. (Age can be relaxed upto 5 years in case of 1 and 2 positions with higher experience)
