Desirable Qualification: Ability to speak, read and write Hindi; Candidates should be willing to live in remote islands and travel extensively on sea. Candidates with experience in cave environment and rock climbing skills will be preferred
Description of work: To work closely with the forest department of Andaman and Nicobar islands and local communities towards in-situ and ex-situ conservation of the Andaman Edible-nest Swiftlet.
Project Title: Characterization of Community Reserves and assessment of their conservation values in Meghalaya

Essential Qualification: I) M Sc Degree in Zoology / Wildlife Science/ Environmental Science/Life Sciences from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or above. ii) Two years of research experience in the field of wildlife ecology after post graduation;
Desirable Qualification: Field research experience on bird community studies; Description of Work: The selected candidate is expected to coordinate and conduct the field surveys for Laughingthrushes in select landscapes of southern Western Ghats and assist the Principal Investigator in other project activities.
