Essential Qualification

B.E/ B.Tech /ME /M.Tech with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade

Desirable areas of experience

Fresher or up to 3 years experience in any R&D institution or industry in Digital signal processing, Digital systems design using microcontroller & FPGA, Communication system design, Digital signal processing algorithms implementation in MATLAB/SIMULINK, Application software development using LabVIEW/LabWindows software for electronic systems, Electromagnetic Interference(EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibility(EMC) test & evaluation, EMI/EMC calibration, Working knowledge of RF / Microwave instrumentation, RF system design, antenna & antenna arrays design, CAD tools for RF system and antenna design

Candidates may have to appear for a written objective type of questions test.
No TA / DA will be paid to candidates for appearing for the written test / interview.
Candidates should make their own arrangements for their travel/stay at Chennai.

Number of posts may vary depending on the requirements of SAMEER.
Experience will not be counted for the candidates without experience certificate from their employers(s).
No additional increments will be given in case the candidate has more number of years of experience as prescribed for the post applied.
SAMEER reserves the right to reject or accept the candidature of any applicant at any stage.
SAMEER reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment process, if need arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof

SAMEER was set up as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH (TIFR),Mumbai. SAMEER, Mumbai was setup in 1984.
Centre for Electromagnetics, SAMEER Chennai which was under Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987.
Centre for Microwave & Millimeterwave, SAMEER Kolkata was set up in 1994.
Elecromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Laboratory, SAMEER Visakhapatnam was established in 2014.
Centre for High Power Microwave Tube and Component Technology, SAMEER Guwahati was established in 2015.V
