Job Description

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) invites application for the position Research Scientist

No of Posts: (2 nos.)

Salary: Rs. 48,000 + HRA

Essential Qualification & Experience: 2nd Class Masters Degree in Science with Ph.D in relavant subject from recognised University Or 1st Class Masters Degree in Environmental Science/Life Sciences/ Physical sciences from a recognised University with 2 years experience in related field.

Desirable Qualification : Working Experience with  X ray Diffraction Protein / Circular Dichroism / Time Resolved Spectroscopy / Live Imaging / Confocal Microscopy / Mass Spectroscopy / Transmission Electron Microscopy / FACS / Femtosecond / X ray Diffraction Powder / Atomic Force Microscopy / Scanning Electron Microscopy techniques and associated  instruments. Candidates having PhD degree will be preferred.
