Senior Software Engineer positions at IBM India Research Lab is a challenging, dynamic and highly innovative role.

You will be responsible for differentiating Hybrid Cloud Platform stack that helps IBM to create new product features, solutions, and service offerings using hybrid cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
You will be enriching IT Operations with AI driven platforms and solutions
You will be leveraging research on advanced text and content analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, speech and interactions to enrich existing Hybrid Cloud solutions
You will be instrumental in creating new possibilities, new concepts and their feasible solutions aligned with overall IBM Strategy and overall Business

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience in building software systems using Cloud technologies, with deep expertise in one or more of IBM Bluemix, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
Expert level skills in open-source cloud technologies – Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Experience of using and developing Devops technologies and tools for thought the development and product maintenance lifecycle, Databases and data modeling, Linux platforms
Comfortable with software installation, configuration management and system administration
Good to have exposure and experience in working with open source community projects in Observability space such as Fluentd, Fluentbit, Container/conmon, CRI-O, Kubernetes repos
Exposure to Go, Ruby, Python, Java/J2EE, C System level programming, and also good to have Microservices based App development environment experiences
Focal point between multiple research teams, product teams and clients
Proven Communication Skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience in Machine Learning, Data and Text Mining, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, Information Extraction
Agile software development across technologies and languages. Work with a combination of open source and commercial/proprietary technologies
