Job Description

RESEARCH TECHNICIAN – CEREAL PATHOLOGY

ICRISAT seeks applications from Indian Nationals for the position of Research Technician for Cereal Pathology in Integrated Crop Management under Asia program. The position is based at ICRISAT Patancheru, Telangana. The position reports to the Principal Scientist – Cereal Pathology & Head Plant Quarantine Unit, Asia Program, ICRISAT.

Essential criteria: Graduate in B.Sc. in Biological Sciences Preferably Agriculture with 2-3 years of related experience, Experience in Field experiments will be desirable

Good communication skills and knowledge of local language is a must

Energetic and enthusiastic personality with an urge to learn more

Strong team player and willing to work as part of an extended team

General:This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position for 3 years renewable based on the funding availability, incumbent’s performance and the Institute’s continuing need for the position.
