Resident Engineer for Repair & Maintenance of End Clients
We are looking to hire a talented and hardworking Computer Hardware Engineer who will be placed at a government organisation in Jaipur to repair IT end clients such as desktops, laptops, AIO Computers, Workstations, Monitors, MFPs, Laser Printers, Scanners, Projectors & Fax Machines.

Responsibilities -

• Carry out periodic preventive maintenance tasks on all types of end clients.
• Diagnose equipment failures and/or problems; perform required repairs; replace faulty components.
• Advising and assisting users in solving system related problems
• Setting out the works in accordance with the specifications in coordination with the customer’s requirement.
• Liaising with Supervisors and clients to discuss work schedules and time and material cost estimates.
• Repair hardware components including circuit boards, processors,desktops, laptops, All-in-1 computers, workstations, multi-functional printers, laser coloured/Black & white printers, scanners, projectors & fax machines.
• Chip Level troubleshooting and circuit tracing in laptop & desktop motherboards.
• Conduct repairing of motherboards at Chip level.
• Testing hardware components individually and in tandem with computer systems
• Ensuring all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Efficient utilization of all available resources.
• Sourcing or scavenging for replacement parts of IT End Points.
• Providing timely resolutions to problems or escalate to the appropriate technical supervisors.
• Monitoring SLA management to ensure continuous improvement in delivering value.
• Maintenance of records for inward and outward flow of systems.
• Prepare and monitor daily progress report and updating to stakeholders on day-to-day basis.
• Keep correct record of asset management tracking, inventory control, work completed, and work in progress.
• Order for parts and supplies based on inventory.

Requirements-

• Minimum Experience: 3+ years
• Education: BSc. Computers / BE / BTech / Diploma in Computer Hardware – Repairs & Maintenance/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of above-mentioned End Clients.
• Ability to quickly analyse & diagnose technical problems
• Hands on experience of lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters etc.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Should know how to solder.
• Possess relevant professional certifications for repairs of varieties of peripherals.
• Should be willing to work for 6 days a week
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Knowledge on vendor management and asset management.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.
