Job Summary

• We are looking for a residential teacher to employ in one of our boys homes in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. 
• The teacher will live inside the home and will be reposnsible for the children's tuition sessions and scolastic achievements.
  
• Start date: immediate
  
• Location: Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India
  
• Full-time
  
• Salary: 6.000 rupees/month + accomodation
  
• Male candidates only.
  

• Assessing children’s educational level and performances;
  
• Regularly checking children's diaries and school assignments;
  
• Regularly monitoring children's esucational progress and performances;
  
• Conducting tuition classes in the morning and in the evening;
  
• Conducting regular visits to school to check children’s school performance;
  
• Undertaking initiatives to improve children’s educational performances;
  
• Collaborating and coordinating with other members of the home staff.
  
• Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  
• Specialisation in Maths required (M.Maths preferred);
  
• Experience in tutoring/teaching preferred;
  
• Good level of English;
  
• Commitment to TDH Core Vision, Mission and Values;
  
• Keen interest in teaching and working with children.
