Job Summary: Chennai Retail Mart is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maximizing sales and profitability, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Note: Proficiency in Tamil and Basic English skills (to operate billing machines) is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:·
Greet customers as they enter the store and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
 Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for and provide recommendations and product knowledge.
 Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and conducting inventory checks.
Actively engage in suggestive selling and promoting current sales and promotions.
Uphold company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety standards. Collaborate with team members and management to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Retail Store Manager

Requirements: High school diploma or any Graduate
0-2 years of experience in a retail sales environment preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system.

Physical Requirements : Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders and reach overhead.
