Key responsibilities may include RF system design, spectrum analysis, interference mitigation, and network optimization.
Strong analytical skills, knowledge of RF principles, and proficiency in relevant software tools are typically required for this role.
Traveling to customer locations and field sites.Testing the performance of existing wireless networks.Analysing RF broadcasting equipment and suggesting improvements.
Using computer software to design RF installations for new wireless networks.
Troubleshooting network issues.Performing site surveys to determine optimal locations for RF equipment deployment.
Documenting installation procedures, test results, and equipment configurations.
Providing technical support and assistance to customers or end-users as needed.
RF Engineer Requirements:• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years' experience as an RF engineer in the mobile telecommunications industry.
• Advanced knowledge of LTE and RF networks.• Ability to travel when required.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Knowledge of RF hardware systems and testing equipment.• Ability to work without supervision.• Good troubleshooting skills.
