OpenTeQ technology jobs - Ruby - Front End Developer

As a Ruby - Front End Developer ,this role will architect and implement backend and frontend solutions using Java script, React, Ruby, Rust or other technologies best-suited for the goals of the customer’s platform. You’ll be developing robust, performant services and user-friendly web clients that can enable clinicians to operate efficiently and gain new insights. You'll practice sound fundamentals with regards to Domain Driven Design, Microservices, and Event Streaming using technologies such as Docker, and Kubernetes. Through intuitive visuals and interfaces, you will be creating modern and appealing applications across multiple platforms for patients of all types and demographics.

•We use a mixture of technologies, and focus on those that help us get jobs done most efficiently.

•You should have knowledge of the React framework as well as common javascript tooling such as Webpack, Parcel, or Lerna for frontend development.

•Experience with GoJS is a plus.

•You should have deep knowledge of the surrounding parts of the stack with the capability of designing RESTful APIs and backend services.

•As we scale to reach many patients and institutions, you’d make implementation decisions around scalability, performance, and web page optimization techniques.

•We employ a rapid, continuous deployment system, and as engineers, are responsible for seeing features through deployment. Knowledge of cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, AWS) will prove to be beneficial.

Experience in healthcare and healthcare technologies including an understanding of HL7v2 integrations, specifically around ORMs (orders) and ORU (results) and MDM records.

Experience with lab integrations is a plus.
