- Possess knowledge and ability to recognize and evaluate potential workplace health and safety hazards.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory and internal requirements in the field of employee health and safety.
- Carry out Building Safety Reviews to ensure compliance to IBM Global Building Process, National Building Code of India, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, Local Regulatory Requirements, etc. and advise appropriate controls.
- Identifying, implementing and ensuring conformance to Global Safety Priorities. This includes, Building Design/Operations, Transportation safety, Contractor Safety, Accident investigation, Food safety, Ergonomics, Emergency Response, and others factors applicable to office environment.
- Perform Illness, Injury, and Incident Investigation to evaluate and identify root cause. Report and follow up the implementation of corrective / preventive actions.
- Practice public health principles for water quality, vector-borne diseases, sanitation, food safety, etc. and evaluate work environments for compliance with requirements.
- Develop and maintain credible working and personal relationship with key partners, customers and employees.
- Work closely with physicians to analyze and implement pro-active wellness programs which create a positive employee well-being culture.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Working experience in the field of Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Health.
- Experience: 6-12 years of professional experience in the field of HSE Management, predominantly in the field of Safety.
- Recognize complex problems related to health and safety objectives.
- Analyze situations and implement solutions, or support in developing new system elements, procedures or processes.
- Engaged as an independent professional and effectively utilize group dynamics.
- Ability to articulate and compare alternative approaches.
- Computer skills with respect to Microsoft office and ERP packages.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise- Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor Certification for OHSAS 18001:2007
