Safety Officer / Factory Medical Officer/ Accounts Officer recruitment in Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., (KPCL)


Safety Officer /05 Posts


Qualification :  i. Recognized Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology & had practical experience of 2 years in a Factory in Supervisory capacity;

ESSENTIAL: Recognized degree in Physics or Chemistry with practical experience of 5 years in a Factory in Supervisory capacity; OR Recognized Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology & had practical experience of 5 years in a Factory in Supervisory capacity; OR

ii. A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Govt. Recognized Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Technology & had experience of 5 years in a Dept., of the Central or State Govt. which deals with the administration of the Factories Act,1948 or Indian Dock Labourers Act, 1934; OR Recognized Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Technology & had experience of 5 years, full time, on Training, Education, Consultancy, or research in the field of accident prevention in Industry or in any Institution. OR iii. Adequate knowledge of the Kannada language;

Factory Medical Officer/
04 Posts


Qualification : i. A Bachelor’s Degree [Regular] in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from a recognised institute/college in Karnataka.

ESSENTIAL: & ii. Training in Industrial Health of minimum 3 months duration recognized by the State Govt. & iii. Experience of 2 years in a private or in a recognised Medical Institution/Hospital apart from internship training. Note a] Post Graduate qualification is not deemed as experience. : b] Person possessing Diploma in Industrial Health or equivalent shall not be required to possess the certificate of training as aforesaid (as mentioned at sl. no(ii) above. They have to produce Diploma in Industrial Health certificate at the time of document verification

Medical Officer/05 Posts

Qualification : i. A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from a recognised institute/College in Karnataka.

ESSENTIAL: & ii. Experience of 2 years in a private or in a recognised Medical Institution/Hospital apart from internship training. Note: Post Graduate qualification is not deemed as experience.

Accounts Officer/ 02 Posts

Qualification :A First Class Graduate holding Membership of the Institute of Cost and Works Accounts of India (ICWA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).

ESSENTIAL: Desirable: Experience of two years as an Executive in a reputed large establishment public/private Undertaking in compiling and analysis cost data.

Age Limit: The candidates should have attained the age of 18 years.1 SC/ST/Cat-I 40 Years, 2 Other Backward Classes 38 Years ,3 General Merit 35 Years 4 Ex-Serviceman  45 Years*

Pay Scales: *Rs. 20895-49895

Jr Personnel Officer (HK)/ 14 Posts

Qualification : i. A Bachelor’s Degree of a recognised University;& ii. Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management or Social Work with Specialisation in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations recognised by GoK for appointment to superior posts or as Welfare Officer under the Factories Act or a Bachelor’s Degree of a recognised University with a Bachelor’s Degree in law or Diploma in Labour Laws or MSW/MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management.

Pay Scales *Rs.14395-40785

Jr Personnel Officer (NHK) / 23 Posts

Qualification :  i. A Bachelor’s Degree of a recognised University; & ii. Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management or Social Work with Specialisation in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations recognised by GoK for appointment to superior posts or as Welfare Officer under the Factories Act or a Bachelor’s Degree of a recognised University with a Bachelor’s Degree in law or Diploma in Labour Laws or MSW/MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management

Welfare Officer/ 05 Posts

Qualification : i. A Bachelor’s Degree of a University recognized by the Government of Karnataka. ii. Master’s Degree [Regular] in Social Work [MSW]- from the University recognized by the Government of Karnataka. iii. Experience of 2 years as Welfare Officer in a reputed industry. 

Pay Scales: *Rs. 19055-43995

Selection procedure: a) Selection will be made purely on merit basis duly following reservation policy. b) Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test.

Application Fee (Non-refundable): a] Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates) plus postal service charges of Rs.25/-. 

b] Nominal fees of Rs.50/-(Rs.25/- processing charges+Rs.25/- postal service charges) for :
i. Ex-serviceman; ii. Children of Defence Personnel killed or disabled in action; iii. Persons with Disability (Divyanga).
