Job Description

Position Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Overview: As a Sales and Marketing Manager for our media house, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and enhance our brand presence in the market. You will work closely with the editorial, production, and management teams to align strategies that maximize advertising and sponsorship opportunities across our media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Sales Strategies:

Create and execute innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth across digital, print, and event platforms.
Identify key market segments and potential clients to target for advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, corporate clients, and direct advertisers.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and negotiate advertising contracts and terms.

Marketing Campaigns:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing campaigns that promote our media offerings effectively.
Utilize market research and analysis to identify trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

Revenue Management:

Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to optimize revenue generation.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team.

Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Provide coaching, training, and performance management to ensure the team's success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience (1-3+ years) in sales and marketing roles within the media industry.
Strong understanding of digital media trends, advertising platforms, and marketing strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Leadership experience with a track record of managing and motivating a sales team.
