Develop business with existing customers, but continuously identify new customers /
opportunities that will add quality business to our operation. Maximise the sales potential of
the branch through a total commitment to customer service and care.
Agree annual sales objectives and targets with the Sales Manager and monitor your
performance in relation to them on a month-to-month basis, taking action as required to
ensure that you sales target is achieved.
Ensure adequate planning and time management is in place on customer visits and
developing relationships and generating sales most of the time. A minimum of 1 - 2 large
size customer calls plus 5 – 6 medium size customer calls must be achieved every day.
Operate an effective call plan and accurately record all the necessary information / follow
up on the customer’s record cards and in your company diary. Follow up on quotes done
by you or on your behalf by the Internal Sales team.
