
Job Description:
· Understanding of Home Furnishings/ Home Textiles
industry
· Business/ market knowledge
· Good communication and networking skills
· Ability to work under tight deadlines with
targets
· Dealing with retailers in General Trade/
Traditional Retail
· Ability to access market potential
· Daily reporting to line manager regarding
targets and visits
· Must be open to travelling to multiple locations
· Retailer-level target setting and following up
on regular basis
· Should be open to explain product features well
· New product placement in relevant stores
· Should be able to carry out store level
promotion activities (like store posters, pillow/ mattress stands, dealer
boards etc.)
· Should formulate market – specific and
retailer-specific schemes to achieve the targets
· Competition tracking and analysis on a daily
basis
· Payment collection from retailers
· Interaction with Franchisee as well as
Distributor for that specific area
· Have a clear focus on
Traditional Channel- to build Distribution, Visibility and Volumes.
· Adequate computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel
& emails
