We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented territory sales intern to join our dynamic sales team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales management and territory development. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships with customers.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Market research: Conduct research to identify potential customers and market trends within the assigned territory. Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to inform sales strategies
2. Lead generation: Assist in the identification and qualification of leads within the territory. Collaborate with the sales team to implement targeted lead-generation campaigns
3. Customer outreach: Support the sales team in reaching out to potential customers and scheduling appointments. Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and materials
4. Territory management: Work closely with the territory sales manager to plan and execute sales strategies. Help in maintaining and expanding customer databases within the assigned territory
5. Sales administration: Aid in the preparation of sales reports and analysis of key performance indicators. Assist in order processing, contract management, and other administrative tasks
6. Learning and development: Participate in training sessions to enhance sales and customer relationship management skills. Seek guidance and mentorship from experienced sales professionals
