Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Engage in superior customer service by making information readily available
2. Demonstrate products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
3. Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary
4. Answer questions from clients
5. Make product knowledge readily available to self and other sales people through various resources
6. Find ways to sell products in the face of a down market
7. Research client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
8. Create a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees
9. Analyze and create a plan for engaging the target market
10. Analyze the competition to create a plan for engagement
11. Make product appeal to the target market
12. Train other sales people in the art of selling
13. Make sure that all salespeople meet quota during a given period
14. Set up booths at trade shows and demonstrate the quality or uses of a product
15. Demonstrate superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines
16. Persist in sales even in the face of failure
