The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team. This includes setting sales objectives, developing and executing sales plans, monitoring performance and motivating the team to achieve maximum sales potential. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Set and manage annual sales targets, metrics, goals and objectives
2. Develop strategies to increase market share and
penetrate new markets
3. Monitor performance of the sales team against
established targets
4. Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the sales team
5. Analyze data to identify trends in customer needs, preferences, buying habits and competitive landscape
6. Establish relationships with key customers/stakeholders
7. Create presentations to promote products/services
to customers/stakeholders
8. Develop pricing strategies that maximize profits while maintaining customer loyalty
9. Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on revenue growth, trends in customer needs and competitive landscape
Requirements:
1. Proven track record of success in a sales management role; preferably in a B2B environment
