Brief writeup about the Director and the company :
Brought up in Mumbai.
I have been working with the DSA and insurance industry for the last 26 years. I started my own DSA when I was 21 years old. The company sold credit cards, home loans, car loans and personal loans. We have worked with HSBC and Citibank and ICICI bank. After running the company for 15 years I joined the insurance industry. I have worked as a branch manager with Kotak life and ICICI prudential and HDFC life. In 2018 I moved to Dubai and joined the insurance brokerage industry here as sales Manager.
In Dubai 70% of the business sourced is through the brokerage model. The insurance companies dont have their own sales force. I feel that is the future model for insurance distribution in India provided there are sufficient checks and balances on the quality of business.
How will we start:
I plan to become the biggest distributor for financial products in the country in the next 3 years. I plan to invest heavily in technology and in quality manpower. I will invest a lot in training and recruitment. But at the same time we will keep our overheads very low and try to function out of a centralized base office with minimum investment in rent and administration.
We will be appointing agents to sell in insurance products across the country. We have adatabase of 35000 agents across Delhi and Delhi NCR. We have database of agents in UP and Haryana.
Initially we will operate out of Noida and have certified service agents out of Delhi And NCR and close by cities. Eventually we will have certified agents across the country. We plan to source business from across the country.
I am aware the plan I propose requires a heavy capital outlay which I am prepared for.
Why will the agents work with us:
1. They can sell multiple products from the same company. They will all be assigned a agent manager who will assist them in all there requirements.
2. There payouts will be higher than industry average. Plus they will be eligible for other perks like trip abroad, medical coverage for them and their family at very low cost and whatever other incentives we can afford. Our aim will be to keep the agents happy and satisfied.
3. We will also support them with leads through paper inserts and all other means.
4. Payments will be bang on time. Even a single day delay in payments upsets the agents a lot. We will take very good care of that.
