· Prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within a defined territory.
· Forecasting and tracking of sales opportunities.
· Achieving sales targets of self & the team.
· Understanding industry trends, product capabilities and customer requirements.
· Establishing executive level, long term customer relationship for future cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
· Ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Selling travel products and tour package.
· Liaising with channel partners, generating business from them & helping them to close sales.
· Dealing with customer inquiries and aiming to meet their expectations.
· Overseeing the smooth, efficient running of the sale process.
· Motivating the sales team to hit their targets and ensure company profitability;
· Meeting regularly with team members to give them sales figures and plan how they approach their work.
· Reporting to sales seniors who advise on strategy and finding out about any local issues and future trends.
· Overseeing the recruitment, selection and retention of the team as well as their training.
· Organizing incentives, bonus schemes and competitions.
· Communicating with Travel consultants and providing encouragement, help and advice.
· Dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints.
