Job Description: 

The Sales Operations Specialist will support Medline UNITE Foot & Ankle’s growing business. This position will support pricing implementation/resolution, monthly sales/commission reporting, and assist the division’s operations team in various ad-hoc needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills and display the ability to work independently and solve issues that arise. Our analyst will serve as the first point of resolution for pricing issues and must be comfortable operating support hub ticketing software’s such as Zen Desk and other internal Medline applications such as SAP, SPA Tool, and various other tools.

Skills / Experience
  • 3-6 Years of previous experience in Marketing/Business Administration (business analyst/operations) in Healthcare domain is a strong plus.
  • Mandatory experience around Sales operations / business analyst role - Strong experience with commercial departments (Sales, Marketing and Finance)
  • Ability to extract, analyze and report on data required & previous experience working with databases strongly preferred.
  • Experience with online research and competitive analysis a plus.
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate in clear and concise language.
  • High attention to detail and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to read and analyze business financials and provide input in assessment and forecasting of business trends.
  • Research skills – ability to synthesize large amounts of diverse data from multiple sources and provide detailed reports.
  • Interpersonal skills – collaborate with diverse multicultural teams.
  • Planning and project management skills – through careful prioritization, manage multiple projects to deliver within agreed timeframes.
  • Hard work ethic and positive attitude in managing both simple and complex tasks.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision

Education
  • Master’s in Business and Administration (Healthcare Management/Administration is a strong advantage)
  • Knowledge of SAP is a strong plus.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Analytical skills. Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlook-ups, graphing data, etc).
  • Understanding of macros and ability to develop quickly repeatable reporting is not required but would be a positive.
  • Experience & knowledge on BI tool (Responsible for creating the metrics to evaluate sales efficiency and productivity) is plus.
  • Some of the responsibilities are:
  • Analyze data regarding distributor sales / business performance, activity and trends
  • Compile weekly and month-end sales / business analysis.
  • Manage pricing tickets and implement/load pricing to ensure accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot errors from sales force and determine appropriate resolution.
  • Identify sales / business trends and recommend improvements.
  • Measure, track and report results of initiatives.
  • Perform analysis and generate reports consistently with continuous improvement of processes and procedures
  • Communicate results of the data analysis to the various stakeholders at the agreed frequency
  • Work directly with internal teams to provide intermediate level analysis and reporting as necessary
  • Monitoring and analyzing key sales, business performance indicators and trends to drive strategic and tactical business decisions and coordinating and ensuring accuracy of sales forecasts
  • Ensuring Sales process adoption and compliance and producing insightful data-driven recommendations to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure greater sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop reports & dashboard based on requirements.
