Position Summary

Our Software Development Engineer provides software development support by analyzing business requirements to design and develop appropriate systems solutions according to specifications. They provide technical expertise in evaluating, designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting systems and procedures that are cost effective and improve work efficiency. Additionally, the Software Development Engineer partners with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure that the application meets company service level standards and roadmap requirements.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

We require individuals who have a working knowledge of:

• Demonstrated understanding of and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
• Experience developing in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Triggers, Lightning Design and Visualforce pages
• Ability to design, config, code, test, debug, and maintain Salesforce platform
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills and excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Aura Components, Lightning Web Components is a plus.
• Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Visual Studio Code, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)
• Experience in HTML, XML, JavaScript, and SQL
• Strong knowledge and experience with JavaScript using any one of these frameworks: React.js, Angular.js, Ember.js
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery or Lodash
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Services
• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experienced with Web Services (SOAP and Restful) and SOA
• Database and data modeling experience and understanding of relational database concepts
• Object Orientated programming and design skills (ex: Java programming skills)
• Experienced with manipulating large datasets across heterogeneous systems
• Experienced with Data Integration technologies and solution
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines a plus
• Experience with Agile Software Development processes
• Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can enhance and improve these processes.
• Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills.
• Analytical and detail oriented.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years previous development experience with Salesforce.com
• Certified Salesforce Developer
• Certified Salesforce Administrator

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
• Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
• Duties may require being on call periodically or working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends). Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 5% of the time spent traveling.
• Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center, or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table.
