Position Responsibilities
- Demonstrate mastery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud core functions including Email Studio, Journey Builder/Automation Studio and Contact Builder.
- Develop digital marketing assets. Deliverables include email and landing page design, lead capture form creation, building customer journeys and automations, developing email and newsletter templates with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Utilize core marketing technologies and platforms, including but not limited to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, WordPress, Salesforce, Analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strategize and execute B2C email marketing programs on behalf of our clients including A/B testing, email client rendering tests, QC and QA.
- Work alongside the Salesforce administrator to ensure database cleanliness, object syncing, bidirectional sync with CRM using Marketing Cloud Connect, and general campaign execution.
- Ensure quality assurance of email campaigns using testing and analytics tools to ensure deliverability, accuracy and a seamless user experience.
- Provide guidance and consulting on advanced email marketing tactics including dynamic content, personalization strings, and A/B testing.
- Ensure campaign health and deliverable execution using project management tools(Google Docs, Slack and Basecamp)
- Acquire Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Sales Cloud Admin certification in first 12 months.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly project target established by supervisor
- Ability to internalize and accurately leverage GeniusU's processes
- Retain training and direction from management
- Adherence and accountability with regards to company policies and values
- Work effectively in a collaborative work environment and professionally represent GeniusU to clients
- Performs other duties as assigned, which may include periodic travel
Minimum Qualifications
- Background knowledge of modern consumer behavior and B2C marketing strategies, including search, social, email, e-commerce, and content marketing.
- Comfortable with business-to-business marketing technology and a fast learner of new platforms.
- Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience executing successful B2C email marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency with the following toolsets:
- CMS experience (ex. WordPress)
- Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets/ SQL
- E-commerce platforms (ex: Shopify)
- Basic HTML/CSS
- Salesforce CRM
- Process-oriented
- High attention to detail
Proficiency in the following is desirable but not required
- Marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, MailChimp, and/or Constant Contact
- Online screen sharing tools such as RingCentral Meetings, WebEx, GoToMeeting, or Join.Me
- Project Management tools such as Smartsheets, Asana, Trello or Basecamp
- Email and CRM integration technology such as Zapier or Litmus
- Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau+
- Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is a plus
