EXPECTATION AND TASKS:
- Technically lead the team in developing commercial software programs.
- Provide intermediate to complex technical production/applications support and assistance for customers.
- Works independently to gather information, pose workarounds, carry out necessary research, and provide an in-depth analysis to resolve production/application issues, customer requests and inquiries, driving escalations along with the team as needed.
- A go getter for success maintaining ownership of tasks until resolution.
- Works in group or independently on side projects as needed and assigned.
- Efficiently organizes and addresses multiple production issues and customer requests from several sources, delegating when and if appropriate
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Technology Expert. Demonstrated leadership and ownership of a large and innovative feature that has been successfully deployed. Sound knowledge of Computer Science areas and fundamentals
- Proficiency in Core Java and Web services. Should possess understanding of least one RDBMS system (e.g. Oracle)
- Experience in Enterprise web applications
- Strong leadership qualities – Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements and technical architectural components. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. Should have the ability to influence others and inspire others to create their best work. Will interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development
- Technical requirements
- Good hold on HTTP protocol and related technologies
- Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles
- Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge. HTML, XML, Web Services Knowledge of Application Servers, Web Servers. Ability to understand problems in software, debug and fix. Experience in tools such as JIRA for bugs. UI based technologies such as Angular JS, bootstrap, React etc..
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Computer Science/equivalent with commercial software development experience and expert in system programming and object-oriented design.
- Typically 14 to 18+ years of technology experience (Technically Hands-on Coding, Algorithm, design and write Architecture)
