Podium Systems Pvt Ltd jobs - SAP Basis Lead/Manager

As a. SAP Basis lead/Manager you are expected to have experience managing SAP Basis delivery teams for customer accounts and responsible for end-to-end delivery of SAP Basis projects and Production support. You should have prior experience as a SAP Basis consultant with at least 10+years of hands-on experience managing Productive environments.

Technical Knowledge required for the position : SAP experience on all of the following NetWeaver technologies :

• SAP Basis Netweaver Administration
• SAP ERP, BW/BI, Business Objects, Enterprise Portal, SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP PI),SAP Cloud connector.
• SAP J2EE 7.3 and higher
• SAP Solution Manager 7.2 end to end configuration and administration like Technical onitoring, and Jobs monitoring.
• SAP HANA 1.0 and 2.0 End to End database administration, Installation, upgrade and Performance Tuning
• Knowledge and experience in managing applications running on Private /Public cloud(Google, Azure / Amazon)
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end delivery transition to SAP Basis Production support teams
• Strong interpersonal skills: able to collaborate and work in a team
• Prepare Project Definition Document for the Customer Projects
• Work with the Customer to define project scope, schedule, and resource requirements
• Manage project implementations ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and performed as planned
• Manage customer expectation ensuring project goals are being met, on time and within budget
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) during the execution of the project in terms of project control, progress reporting, quality assurance, financial management, risk management and escalation.
• Develop and maintain best practices for project management implementation strategy.
• Work with the Solution Architects and Technical Consultants to prepare Work Activity Reports for Customer approval & billing
• Act as an interface with the client project sponsor to ensure customer satisfaction with the project delivery
• Facilitate effective status communications between account teams and customers
• Lead SAP Basis teams for shared and Dedicated delivery
  

Basis Service Management

• Earlier experience of managing the delivery of L1, L2, L3 teams
• Experience managing SAP Basis teams for large customer accounts
• Educational background: university degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent experience in T or relevant business area.
• Conversant with ITIL processes, ITIL certification will be a plus
• Experience handling global customers and leading teams across geographies
• Experience handling complex migration, implementation, and upgrade projects will be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills
