Designation - SAP Data Migration consultant
Roles and Responsibilities
Support data migration projects in a global SAP S4-HANA-system.
Continuous communication and collaboration with the relevant Global Data Owners and deployment teams.
Design, prepare and execute tests & guide data cleansing and migration
Communicate with SAP basis for required test system
Taking part in and responsible for complete end to end Mocks and Loads for a Global Rollout Project using Cutover Plans.
Liaising with internal Business and Governance, users, and Functional Consultants, and provide answers to their questions.
Performing data refresh of SAP tables before Mocks and Integration Testing loads.
Solve defects assigned in Quality Center and provided detailed explanation for solutions.
Become part of the Data Management Service Offering at Infosys providing consulting support to engagements across all industry verticals for Data Management requirements
Member of core advisory group supporting Data management solution construction for customers
Ideate and develop niche tools and accelerators for Data Management
Execute PoC on latest tools and technologies and promote its use at various client engagements
Support growth of the practice by adding to the library of Case Studies, Tools capabilities, Industry data peculiarity dictionary, Industry Best Practice
Requirements:
Data Migration experience to SAP using SAP Data Services, preferably with experience in at least one S/4 HANA Migration project.
Must be able to demonstrate good understanding of Data Migration in global teams.
Extensive experience in Finance, SCM, SRM, Banking, Tax, Treasury, Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceutical and Telecom verticals.
Expertise in Cutover Planning, Project Planning, Project Design, Gathering Business and Functional requirements, creating functional specifications, and Use case data flow diagrams
Worked in SAP Finance, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP SCM, SAP MDM, SAP Project Systems, SAP PP/QM, SAP WM/IM, SAP PM, Business Partners, SAP S/4HANA, Data Governance and Master Data Management MDM
Extensively used Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and MS Office products for data Analysis, Project Schedules, Business process modeling, Requirement/issues documentation and Customer training.
Experienced in preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Summary Reports for Automated and manual testing.
