Job Description

Operational Experience

Proficient in SAS tools like Enterprise Guide, DI Studio, Infomap, Web Report Studio, E-Miner etc.
Design SAS data marts/ Datasets based on business requirements for various Analysis and Scenario
Develop data quality and integrity checks, standardization rules, creating customized and reusable data quality business rules
Data Profiling/ De-duplication/ Validation reports
Generation of error reports from analyzing of input data sources
Create ETL jobs using SAS DI to load data in database tables post data quality treatment and transformation
Creation of SAS datasets/ Datamarts based on the business requirements using SAS Data Management
Schedule and monitor ETL jobs
Design, Development and Testing of Dashboards, Reports as per requirements
Develop and maintain business intelligence models for generating both standard and ad-hoc reports
Analysis of all the source data sets loaded in for data integrity, data quality issues associated with completeness, validity and accuracy of the data loaded in tables. Generation of error reports from analyzing of input data sources
Assist in analysis requirements of department, document and implement a re-usable and standard program for the same using SAS EG, Base SAS and Standard Procedures etc.
Standardizing and Streamlining all the input data sources
For the prioritized set of Functional/ Scenario requirements, conduct an assessment to identify and check availability of the sources of data
Prepare the Functional Specification documents/ Business Requirements documents
Assist the technical team in understanding of the business requirements
Develop the Functional Data Dictionary for all the end user Data Marts

Education/Experience

BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (ComputerScience, Information Technology,Electronics and Telecom)
3 years + work experience with SAS tool stack
Working experience with mathematics, statistics, quantitative SAS functions, SAS Macros
Preferred experience of independent SAS development work related to statistical and mathematical models including variance estimations
Familiarity with Agile development framework, and development of production systems
Understanding of SAS products and how they function together in a distributed environment
Experience with data warehousing to include data quality, data management, and ETL
Strong documentation/reporting skills.
Senior level analytical/troubleshooting and organizational skills.
