Engineer-SCADA
Location:
SCADA-DMS
Control Center (Dehradun/Ludhiana)
Qualification:
Graduate
in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/ with 2-3 years of
relevant experience in execution, testing, commissioning of Distribution SCADA
projects.
The
personnel are required to be well versed with the various dimensions of the
SCADA system in relation to their area of functioning. Apart from above, they
should have good communication skills in Hindi as well as in English
Training:
After
deployment at SCADA/DMS Control Centre, on the job training related to the
usage and activities of the SCADA/DMS system shall be provided to the personnel
deputed for the same.
The
personnel deployed shall be required to familiarize themselves with the
electrical network of the town and operations of network elements such as
circuit breakers, RMUs, RTUs, etc. They shall also have to get themselves
acquainted with all the rules & regulations of Electricity Board.
Scope of Activities:
1. Routine and break-down maintenance of SCADA-DMS Control Center
2. SCADA-DMS Database modification and new IO creation
3. Networking
4. Point to point testing of RTUs, FRTUs
5. Other routine activities.
Non-Disclosure Agreement:
It
shall be binding on the person not to possess and divulge internal system
information to any outsider. If any such activities are observed, the person
shall be removed from duty without further notice. Depending on the severity of
the breach of this condition, a legal case may be filed against the personnel.
Work Timing, Weekly Off
& Leaves:
6
days week, 9 AM to 6 PM. Work hours flexible.
It
is mandatory for the person to be punctual as well as regular for duty.
Maximum
allowed continuous leave is 5 days. Such leaves are restricted to twice in a
calendar year.
Gross Negligence &
Willful Misconduct:
Any
bad behavior and insubordination shall not be acceptable. Suitable action shall
be initiated, based on type and severity, and may lead to termination of
service.
