Qualifications :-

1) A pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations Kerala or its equivalent. OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the universities in Kerala or any examinations recognized by any such universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other examinations, recognized by Govt. as equivalent thereto. AND

2) A pass in T.T.C (Tamil) examination conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala. OR A degree in any subject & B.Ed/B.T/L.T (in Tamil) conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.

3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala

Age Limit :- 18-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to SC/ST candidates and other backward communities. OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations Kerala or any other examinations recognized by Govt. as equivalent there to.

2) A pass in T.T.C (Tamil) examination conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala.

3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

The Commission advise the Government on all matters relating to civil services referred to it under Article 320 (3) of the Constitution and publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written test and/or practical tests, physical efficiency test and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advise candidates for appointment strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported.
