Scientific Assistant (Chemical)

Qualifications :   i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; ii) 4(four) years’ experience in a Chemical Laboratory dealing with analysis of Ferrous and non-Ferrous metals and alloys, attached to an Institution or a foundry or an organization engaged in Engineering Production.

Pay :  Rs. 7,100 – 37,600 (P.B. 3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3,600/- and other allowances

Scientific Assistant (Non-Destructive Testing)

Qualifications :   i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. ii) 4 (four) years’ experience in a Non Destructive Testing Laboratory dealing with X-ray and Gamma radiography of welding, casting etc. of Ferrous and nonFerrous materials and other NDT methods of Testing. iii) Must have experience in photographic dark room practice from a reputed concern. iv) Must have BARC certificate of Site-In-Charge, Level-II course.

Pay :  Rs. 7,100 – 37,600 (P.B. 3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3,600/- and other allowances

Scientific Assistant (Metallography)

Qualifications :   i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of a recognized University. ii) 4(four) years’ experience in a Metallurgical Laboratory dealing with Metallography, attached to an Institution, Foundry or Organization engaged in Engineering production. iii) Should be capable of operating and handling latest & modern Metallurgical Microscopes independently. iv) Must have sufficient experience & skill in the preparation of Macro/Micro Specimens and mountings of micro specimens. v) Must have practical experience in Photography in dark room, capable of handling all type of film processing and printing. vi) Experience in dealing with Metallurigical Microscopes with image Analyser Systems and In-situ metallography.

Scientific Assistant (Welder’s Certification)

Qualifications :   i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science of a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. ii) 4(four) years’ experience in a welding shop of any Engineering Concern dealing with Welding of ferrous materials especially steel. Must have sound knowledge & experience in various methods of welding & testing. iii) Experience in testing & certification of High pressure Welders as per Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950 and other international codes from a reputed concern.

Pay : Rs. 7,100 – 37,600 (P.B. 3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3,600/- and other allowances

Instrument Mechanic

Qualifications :   i) Passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. ii) Must possess Trade Certificate in Instrument mechanic from ITI. iii) 4 (four) years experience as Instrument mechanic in any reputed Engineering organization dealing with Welding Machines/Material Testing Machines and Workshop machineries.

Pay :  Rs. 5,400 – 25,200 (P.B. 2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2,900/- and other allowances

Age Limit  :  Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2019. Relaxable upto 5(five) years in case of specially qualified and experienced candidates and departmental candidates.

Fitter Helper

Qualifications :   i) Passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. ii) Must possess ITI Trade Certificate in the concerned Trade. iii) Must possess Apprenticeship Training Certificate (NCVT) or have experience in the Trade of Fitter for a Minimum period of 3 years.

Pay :  Rs. 5,400 – 25,200 (P.B. 2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2,100/- and other allowances

Age Limit  :  Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2019.

Laboratory Attendant

No. of Vacancy : 1

Qualifications :   i) Passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. ii) 2 (two) years’ experience in any material testing laboratory with skills in handling technical instruments from a reputed organization.

Pay :  Rs. 5,400 – 25,200 (P.B. 2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- and other allowances

Age Limit  :  Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2019. Relaxable upto 5(five) years in case of specially qualified and experienced candidates and departmental candidates.

Machine Man

Qualifications :   i) Passed Madhyamik Examiantion of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. ii) Must possess ITI Trade Certificate in the concerned Trade; iii) Must have general experience in Milling machine, Lathe machine , Shaping machine and Tool-cutting and other workshop machines for not less than 4 (four) years with special skill in any of these machines.

Pay :  Rs. 5,400 – 25,200 (P.B. 2) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2,300/- and other allowances

Age Limit  :  Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2019. Relaxable upto 5(five) years in case of specially qualified and experienced candidates and departmental candidates.

Fee:Rs. 160/- (Rupees one hundred sixty) only. (For Sl. No. from 1 to 5) and Rs. 110/- (Rupees one hundred ten) only. (For Sl. No. from 6 to 8)
