Job Description

Scientific Officer – B recruitment in Inter University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA),Pune

Qualification & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer / Information Technology or
Masters in Computer Application with minimum 9 years of experience and 55% score or
equivalent grade in final term or aggregate.

Job Description:Candidate should have at least nine years of experience in system administration on the Linux / Unix environment. Experience with managing Zimbra email server, Purpose Built Backup Appliance (PBBA),Domain Name Servers, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Servers, Authentication Server, Print Server. Familiarity with managing and configuring network hardware and service protocols in a LAN environment, and fluency in Unix scripting language will be desirable. Knowledge of High Performance Computing cluster, Data Centre infrastructure and VMWare Infrastructure will be an added advantage. 

Pay Scale: Pay Level-L7 (as per 7th CPC) (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)
