Scientific & Technical Officer – E

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : At least B.E./M.Sc./MCA or equivalent degree in Physics / Computer Science or a related field with 8 years' experience or M.E. with 6 year' experience or Ph.D. with 4 years' experience in high level Research/ Development activity of relevance to IUCAA in Physics / Astronomy / Astrophysics or a related field.

Scale of Pay: Pay Level L-12 with starting basic pay of Rs. 78,800/- with other allowances as per GOI norms.

Age Limit: 45 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).

Scientific & Technical Officer - D

No. of Post : 01

Qualification : B.E./M.Sc. with 6 years' experience or M.E. with 4 years' experience in a relevant subject area (Physics/Electronics/etc. or Engineering streams such as Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Com put er Science/etc.)

Scale of Pay: Pay Level L-11 with starting basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- with other allowances as per GOI norms.

Age Limit: 40 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).

Scientific & Technical Officer – C

No. of Posts : 03

Qualification : B.E./M.Sc. with 2 years' experience or M.E. with 1 years' experience in a relevant subject area (Physics/Electronics/etc. or Engineering streams such as Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science/etc.)

Scale of Pay : Pay Level L-10 with starting basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- with other allowances as per GOI norms.

Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms).
