Job specification: Development of robust assays for the characterization of targeted industrially important enzymes, identification of enzymes from plant resources through large scale screening, purification of the target enzymes from natural resources,general characterization and kinetics, cloning of the enzyme encoding genes, codon optimisation the target genes and recombinant expression of enzymes in microbial expression system at lab scale, characterization of recombinant enzymes, protein/enzyme engineering through site directed mutagenesis for the improvement of enzyme kinetics.
