1. Position: Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry)

2. No of Posts: 3

3. Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA

4. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry / *AIC by examination / Biochemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University

5. Experience:

Three years of experience in analytical methods and research therein in the field of Chemistry in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

6. Desirable: Experience working in a Forensic Science Laboratory.

7. HQ: New Delhi with Laboratories at Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Kamrup (Assam) & Pune

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Pay Scale: Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA

4. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects during all the three years of a bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

5. Experience: Three years of experience in research and analytical work in the field of Ballistics in any central and state organization or recognized institute or university or forensic Science laboratories under Central Government and State Government.

6. Desirable: Experience working in a Forensic Science Laboratory.

7. HQ: New Delhi with Laboratories at Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Kamrup(Assam) & Pune.

4. Qualification:

Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Associateship diploma of the Institution of Chemist by Examination** or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects during all the three years of a bachelor of science level from a recognized University

5. Experience:

Three years of experience in research and analytical work in the field of Explosive in any central and state organization or recognized institute or university or forensic science laboratories under Central Government and State Government

6. Desirable: Experience working in a forensic science laboratory.

7. HQ: New Delhi with Laboratories at Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Kamrup (Assam) & Pune
