Scouts/ Guides Job Opportunity Eastern Railway

Category – 1: Gr. ‘C’ – in scale Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP Rs.1900/- [corresponding to Level-2 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)]

(i) For Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) : 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen & for the candidate of any category possessing higher Qualification. (ii) Scouting/Guiding Qualification as in Para 4.0

02 (two) for Eastern Railway - Anywhere in Eastern Railway

01(one) for Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW)

Age: 18 to 30 yrs

Category – 2: Gr. ‘D’ (erstwhile) - in scale Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP Rs.1800/- [corresponding to Level-1 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)]

(i) 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI. (ii) Scouting/Guiding Qualification as in Para 4.0

08(eight) for Eastern Railway Anywhere in Eastern Railway (Except H.Q.)

02(two) for Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW)

Age: 18 to 33 yrs.

Examination Fees : (i) For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below Rs. 500/-(Rupees five Hundred) only. This Examination Fee is not refundable/transferable/ adjustable under any circumstances. (ii) For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred Fifty) only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination.

The Examination Fee is payable in Indian Postal Order only (IPO Payable at GPO, Kolkata) drawn in favour of ‘Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC),Eastern Railway, Kolkata’.

Eastern Railway was formed on 14th April, 1952 by integration of the East Indian Railway consisting of Sealdah, Howrah, Asansol and Danapur Divisions and the entire Bengal Nagpur Railway.
