Requirements

Let’s not beat around the bush. We’re an international scale up, we’re busy! If fast paced environments, cross team exposure, inquisitive freedom and the ability to have a real impact on a rapidly growing scale up appeals to you, then you already have the mind of a Tidean. If you have that along with the following experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Tech Skills

• Knowledge of clean architecture
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin ( Kotlin is a MUST )
• Ability to write and maintain unit tests
• Experience building Android apps that are successfully published to the Play store
• Understanding of reactive programming patterns
• Exposure to continuous integration, delivery and deployment
• Comfortable working in agile methodologies, ideally Scrum
  

Soft Skills

• Take ownership of your own work from planning through delivery
• Experience and desire to develop and mentor less experienced engineers.
• A passion for quality and attitude for learning new tech
• A passion to share knowledge by doing pair programming
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Making contribution to the Android community, through open source project, blog posts or public talks
  

Rather than qualifying techies on 'years of experience' we would focus more on passion for coding and depth of learning. We are looking for geeks, who would want to work with ace developers, and build a strong team.
