Job Description

Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Kolkata invites application for the position Second Officer/ NavigationaI Watch Keeping Officer

No of Post: 02

Candidate will be paid a fixed consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.40,535/- (Rupees Forty Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Five). Apart from this, free mess and board would be provided during stay at Saugor Pilot Station.

The candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

a) Three years service as Deck Officer on a sea going vessel, preference being given to those possessing 2nd Mates (FG)/Dredge Mate Gr.l or Mates (Home Trade)/ Master Certificate.

b) Candidates retired from the Navigation Branch of Indian Navy after completing at least 5 years of satisfactory service Experience in operation of RADAR is desirable.
