Purpose
Reporting to the Cloud Operation Center Manager, the Cloud Security Analyst is responsible to manage all aspects Cloud Security and compliance.
This role will work directly with the CloudOps team, developers and PKI IT compliance organizations to ensure standardization, implementation and compliance with all security controls.
Specific Functions

• Contributes to the design, integration, and testing of a suite of tools for security management of multi-tenant and single-tenant public cloud application services.
• Recommends configuration changes to improve the performance, usability, and value of cyber analysis tools.
• Assists with product studies, performs requirements analysis, and develops software architectures to meet requirements
• Assess overall cloud security posture. Redesign or evolve the posture as necessary to meet all the needs of a modernization of security within organization.
• Provide technical expertise relevant to the development, implementation, and updates to PKIs cloud security policies, procedures, guidelines to ensure company compliance.
• To implement Security and Disaster Recovery measures and drive automation in the cloud architecture.
• To implement security analytics, reporting and metrics program and to support security incidents and analysis with your technical expertise.
• Maintain and improve processes, tools, and documentation that will support production security requirements in the best manner possible
• Perform periodic technical reviews for Corporate and Cloud Infrastructure.

Job Specifications
Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in hands on security analyst role. The majority of this should have been within a cloud environment and/or and IT Security operations team.
• Requires a specific understanding of Application and Operating system hardening, Penetration testing, Vulnerability assessments, Security audits, IPS, Firewalls, Threat management, SIEM, DR testing, Privileged Account management, etc.
• Must be experienced with design, deploy and configure network and enterprise security solutions.
• Experieince working within AWS and/or Azure cloud environment.
  

Special Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge in information security or IT risk management.
• Knowledge of SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls and OWASP Top 10
• Knowledge of global and domestic regulations and standards (FISMA/NIST, SSAE 16, Data Privacy, ISO 27001/27002)
• Preference giving to direct experience with the following vendor solutions, QualysGuard, FortiNet, Barracuda, and AlienVault
  

Key Competencies

• Experience with security management of cloud based services (SaaS) in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Experience architecting, deploying and managing a suite of security management tools, including WAF, NGFW, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DDOS protection, Pen-testing, vulnerability management, and anti-malware.
• Hands-on experience with security management of virtual machines, containers, and applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Direct experience implementing AWS and Azure cloud security services
