Tezpur University invites applications from interested retired police / army / paramilitary officers of not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for appointment as (1) Security Officer & (2) Security Supervisor on contract basis.

Security Officer

Qualification: i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian university. ii) Excellent communication skill in Assamese, English and Hindi.

i) Retired officers of not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) / Deputy Commandant of Assam Police Battalion / Railway Protection Force / Armed Forces / Paramilitary Forces, etc. ii) Five (05) years’ experience of working in the line in Govt. / Semi Govt. / PSU / autonomous organization / large Industrial Units of repute. Experience of working in educational institution(s) preferable.

Emoluments Rs. 55,000/- (Rupees fifty five thousand) only Per Month (Fixed). No other allowances, etc. will be admissible.

Security Supervisor

Qualification: i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian university. ii) Excellent communication skill in Assamese, English and Hindi

i) Retired officers of not below the rank of Sub Inspector (SI) / J.C.O. of Assam Police Battalion / Railway Protection Force / Armed Forces / Paramilitary Forces, etc. ii) Three (03) years’ experience of working in the line in Govt. / Semi Govt. / PSU / autonomous organization / large Industrial Units of repute. Experience of working in educational institution(s) preferable.

Pay Scale : Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand) only Per Month (Fixed). No other allowances, etc. will be admissible.

Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (on the last date of submission of application)

Tezpur University, was established by an Act of Parliament in 1994. The objects of this Central University as envisaged in the statutes are that it shall strive to offer employment oriented and interdisciplinary courses to meet the regional to national aspirations and the development of the state of Assam and also offer courses and promote research in areas which are of special and direct relevance to the region and in the emerging areas in Science and Technology.
