NS ASSOCIATE jobs - Security Senior Engineer

Essential Functions
 Works with customers and Security Solutions architects in planning and designing highly
successful Security focused environments.
 Works with customers to align technology to their business opportunities and needs in
context of their Security Portfolio strategy.
 Assists in delivering consulting engagements, working with distributed sales teams along with
deployment team members.
 Demonstrates command of the Security technologies and other ecosystem solutions.
 Masters a deep technical knowledge and possesses the communication skills and
organizational agility to guide customers through Security integration projects and must also
be able to perform the hands-on technical solution design work on his/her own.
 Utilizes knowledge of architectural design and documentation.
 Stays up to date with Security technologies (Next-Gen Firewall, Next-Gen IPS, VPN and
Network Visibility )
 Stays up to date with Security solution manufacturers programs and promotions.
 Customer facing / presentation skills.
 Documentation skills – ability to deliver high-level design documentation.
 Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
 Ability to work extended hours as needed for critical functions.
 Ability to document business, information, application and technology aspects of approach.
 Candidate must have ability to lead complex large projects.
Required Qualifications
 BS/BA degree in IT or related field (Industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
 Minimum of 5-10 years of documented corporate IT experience in Security solutions is
required
 Candidate must also have excellent communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting and
customer service skills
 Additionally the candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple
projects at once
 Expert knowledge of Cisco Perimeter Security products such as Next-Gen Firewalls (FTD/ASA),
Next-Gen IPS (FirePower, FMC and AMP)
 Strong knowledge of Cisco Network Security products such as Identity Services Engine (ISE),
StealthWatch and Web Security Appliance (WSA)
 Strong knowledge of Cisco Cloud Security products such as Umbrella and StealthWatch Cloud
 Strong knowledge of Cisco Endpoint Security products such as AnyConnect (VPN),Email
Security Appliance (ESA) and AMP for Endpoints
 Current CCNP or other recognized security certification
 Strong skills in Enterprise networking with extensive experience with routing and switching
technologies as it relates to security products
