Senior Advisor (Research & Extension) job vacancies in  Coffee Board on contract basis

Eligibility :  Candidates possessing the qualification of Doctorate Degree in any branch of Agricultural or Horticultural Sciences or Doctoral Degree in Science with specialization in Botany or Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Microbiology or Physiology or Pathology or Zoology or Food Technology or Food Science or Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Economics and having 30 to 35 years' experience in Agricultural Research or Agricultural Extension of preferably in Plantation Crops of which minimum 20 to 25 years of experience in Coffee Research and Extension activities is desirable Candidates should have published Research Papers and Research Articles in Reputed National or international Scientific Journals of which at least 50% of the them are related lo issues on Coffee Sector. preference will be given to candidates who are retired from Government public Undertakings/ Universities having served for at least 10 years in posts carrying the pay scale of Level 12 and 13 put together (Pay Scale Rs.78800 - 209200 and above) who should have the ability to plan, guide, Advise and direct research and field experiments in Coffee Sector and also should have experience in hosting National and international Conferences on Agriculture related matters.

Remuneration :  The consolidated remuneration for the said position will be Rs. 1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Five thousand only). However, higher remuneration may be considered in exceptional cases. initially, the engagement of Senior Advisor (Research & Extension) will be for a period of 1'l months and extendable depending on the performance and requirement. However, the selected candidate shall not have any locus stand to claim permanency an the Coffee Board.

Age Limit :  Maximum age limit for the candidate is 62 years.
