- The Role
- Own production, development and maintenance of daily and weekly business review and merchant facing reports, monthly business review reports, Tableau dashboards, and ongoing analyses to meet SLAs
- Partner with product, engineering, instrumentation and analytics teams to understand product, support experiment setups and analyze performance
- Perform deep dive analyses on key business trends from different perspectives and package the insights into easily consumable presentations and documents
- Continuously lookout for automation opportunities and execute prioritized opportunities
- Strong SQL & Python skills to manipulate and extract data
- Strong command on Automation & automating processes
- Highly self-driven and experienced working with Engineering and peers globally, to understand database systems, data flows, to deliver zero defect reports and analyses.
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering with Global business teams on collecting requirements and delivering analyses/products.
- Business Acumen to produce relevant metrics and insights
- Knowledge of payments space, Redshift, financial reporting is plus.
- Work experience in Spark-sql, SQL, command line, Redshift and Github
- Familiar with data movement techniques and best practices to handle large volumes of data
- Experience with data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices
- Knowledge of Scheduling Tools (like Airflow) is a plus
- 4+ Years of work experience in the field of Data Management & BI / Data Engineering
- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred (Required)
- Masters degree would be valued
